Board Certified Pathologist to cover asap through 9/30/09 with the option to extend. Work hours are M-F 7a-3:30pm. Overtime maybe required for up to 2 hours per weekday and up to 4 hours on weekends. Call is every other weeknight Monday through Thursday and every other weekend Friday pm to Monday 7am. Perform the following services - surgical consultations in Anatomic Pathology, Perform frozen sections, perform surgical pathology procedures to include Gross, Neurosurgery, and reports. Responsible for making presentations to the Tumor Board, Attending & participating in clinical meetings, FNA-Performance & or interpretation. Cover Clinical Pathology when Chief of Service is not available. Responsible for routine Cytopathology-GYN & non-GYN. Participate in proficiency testing & surveys. Clinical notes in the computerized medical records system. *Must have BLS certification.
